In our system, you generally must not be the at-fault driver, your vehicle must have a clean title, and it must not be a lease. Hit-and-run accidents are only eligible when the other driver was identified and had auto-insurance. Your vehicle should be repaired (not a total loss), and the accident must have occurred in a state we support — New York and North Carolina are currently excluded.
